Hello everyone,

I’m not someone who usually shares personal health experiences, but I felt like putting this out there because maybe someone out there is going through the same thing I was.

For a long time, my days just felt… heavy. Not the “I didn’t sleep well” type of tired, but a constant fog where I was physically awake but mentally slow. I would sit down to work or study and my mind would just drift. Even simple tasks felt like I was forcing myself through them.

I tried changing sleep timings, cutting down screen time, even coffee — but nothing really made a lasting difference.

After speaking to a doctor, I was prescribed Armodafinil, specifically Modaawake 100 mg, just to help manage excessive daytime sleepiness.

I still remember the first few days. I didn’t suddenly feel “hyper” or anything like that. It was actually very normal feeling — just a bit clearer. Like the mental fog had slightly lifted. I could start my work without sitting there and overthinking it for an hour.

My dosage, as guided by my doctor, was 100 mg in the morning, and I was told clearly not to overuse it and to keep it part of a proper routine, not rely on it blindly.

Slowly, I noticed small changes that actually mattered to me:
I could stay on one task without jumping around constantly. I could finish what I started. My mind didn’t feel like it was constantly resisting me.

But honestly, not every day was perfect. Some days I still felt normal tiredness. And I realized something important — this didn’t replace sleep or a healthy routine. It just helped me function better on the days when my alertness was really low.

Over time, I stopped seeing it as something “powerful” and started seeing it more like a support — something that helps bring balance when things feel off.

I’m just sharing this as my personal experience. Everyone’s body reacts differently, and it really should always be taken only under proper medical advice.

If you’re feeling constantly tired or mentally drained, don’t ignore it. Sometimes it’s not just “stress” — it might be worth understanding what’s really going on.

Take care of yourself.

This felt very well to read. That “awake but mentally disconnected” feeling is something a lot of people silently struggle with.

I had a similar experience with Modaawake 100 mg where it didn’t suddenly give me crazy energy — it just felt like the mental fog finally loosened a bit. For the first time in months, I could actually sit down and finish things without fighting my own brain the whole day.

And you’re right, it’s not some magic fix. It helps, but if sleep and routine are bad, eventually your body catches up with you. Still, when you’re mentally exhausted all the time, even a little clarity can feel life-changing.
