Been using Modvigil 200 on and off for a few months here in Adelaide and honestly my experience has been pretty mixed.
Some days it genuinely helps me stay focused and awake during long work hours, especially when my sleep schedule gets messy. But other times I notice I become way too locked into random tasks that don’t even matter
Biggest thing I learned is that it works much better when I’m already somewhat rested. Taking it after terrible sleep just makes me feel weirdly drained later.
Also curious if anyone else gets the “still tired physically but brain won’t switch off” feeling at night sometimes?

Yeah bro, I get what you’re saying — that mixed experience is actually pretty common.

I’ve had similar days where it really helps with focus, but sometimes you end up going too deep into things that aren’t even important 😅 it’s like focus is there, but direction matters.

And that part about sleep is spot on. If I take it after poor sleep, it doesn’t feel clean — more like mentally awake but physically off.

Also yes, that “body tired but brain still active at night” feeling… I’ve felt that too a couple of times, especially if timing isn’t perfect. That’s when I realised taking it earlier in the day makes a big difference.

Overall, it’s useful, but you really have to manage timing and routine with it.

Exactly The focus without direction thing is probably the best way to describe it
One day I spent nearly an hour reorganising folders on my laptop that absolutely did not need reorganising 😅. Felt super productive at the time, then later realised I'd ignored the actual work I was supposed to be doing.
And yeah, I've noticed the same thing with sleep. If I've had a decent night's rest beforehand, Modvigil feels much smoother. When I'm already running on fumes, it almost feels like it's forcing my brain to stay awake while the rest of me is begging for a break.
Good to know I'm not the only one who's experienced that. Seems like sleep quality before taking it matters more than people realise.
