Been using Modvigil 200 on and off for a few months now here in Australia, and while the focus benefits were definitely real for me, the side effects honestly caught me off guard at first.

The first thing I noticed was the DRY mouth
Like no matter how much water I drank, my mouth still felt weirdly dry the whole day. Then came the headaches whenever I forgot to stay hydrated properly. Took me a while to realise water actually makes a huge difference with this stuff.

Another thing nobody warned me about was how emotionally “flat” I sometimes felt on it. Not depressed or anything serious… just less social and kinda robotic. My friends even asked me once if I was annoyed about something because apparently I looked super serious all day 😂

Sleep issues were probably the worst side effect for me though. One time I took it after lunch because I barely slept the previous night and thought it would help. Ended up staring at my ceiling till almost sunrise. Since then I never touch it after morning time.

A few side effects I personally experienced:

dry mouth almost every time

random headaches if I skip water

ppetite disappears completely

trouble sleeping if taken late

sometimes overthinking at night

The weirdest part is that even when my body feels tired, my brain still feels “ON” for hours. Hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself.

Not trying to scare anyone because overall Modvigil did help my productivity a lot during stressful work weeks, but I definitely understand now why people say to respect the dosage and timing with Modafinil.

Curious if other Australians here also got the weird emotionally-flat feeling or if that’s just me 😅

The dry mouth and headaches are definitely things most people don’t fully realize until they actually try it 😅
That “emotionally flat” feeling is interesting — I’ve heard a few others mention something similar, so you’re not alone there.
The sleep issue is probably the most common one, especially when taken later in the day.
Overall, appreciate you sharing both the positives and side effects in such a balanced way 👍
