Happiest user ever from Sydney, Australia

This was honestly funny and kinda sad at the same time last year i was going through a really messy phase. sleeping late, missing deadlines, forgetting important stuff, basically looking stressed 24/7
my dad used to keep giving me lectures about being more serious in life every few days during one crazy work week i started using modalert 200 from one of my friends's recommendation because i genuinely needed to get myself together for a project and honestly for the first time in months i actually looked organised waking up on time finishing work properly replying to people not lying in bed scrolling nonsense for hours one evening my dad randomly sat next to me and goes good to see you focused again beta son
bro the guilt hit me so hard because he genuinely looked happy seeing me handle life properly again obviously modalert didn’t magically fix everything and sleep later became kinda rough, but that moment honestly stayed in my head for a long time

I can imagine why it felt both funny and heavy at the same time — because on one side you finally felt like you were getting your life back on track, and on the other side it hits you that people around you had been noticing you struggling for a while.

That comment from your dad is the kind that stays with you, not because of the medicine or the productivity, but because he saw a version of you that made him feel relieved. That’s a pretty emotional trigger honestly.

And yeah, what you noticed makes sense too — it didn’t “fix” anything magically, it just helped you get into a more structured headspace temporarily so you could actually execute things instead of being stuck in that loop.

But the way you described it… that moment with your dad probably mattered more than the whole productivity part.
