I live in Adelaide, South Australia, and my experience with Artvigil 150mg was honestly very different from what I expected after reading all the “productivity monster” posts online.
For me, the biggest change wasn’t insane motivation — it was simply being able to stay mentally awake throughout the day without feeling like my brain was constantly shutting down. Before trying it, I’d reach that horrible afternoon crash where even replying to messages felt exhausting.
The funniest part is that the first day I used Artvigil, I became weirdly obsessed with fixing tiny things around the house 😂 I tightened loose screws on kitchen cabinets, cleaned my desk setup properly, sorted old documents… stuff I’d ignored for months suddenly felt urgent.
At work, I definitely noticed better concentration during long tasks. Usually I’d keep switching tabs every few minutes or checking social media out of boredom, but on Artvigil I could actually sit with one task and finish it properly.
That said, I also learned pretty quickly that timing matters A LOT.
One evening I took it later than usual because I had deadlines the next morning. Bad decision. I stayed awake almost the entire night even though my body felt tired. My mind just kept running nonstop. Since then I only take it early in the morning.
I also noticed small side effects here and there:
dry mouth, reduced appetite, and sometimes this slightly robotic feeling where I became too serious or overly focused. My girlfriend even asked why I was being unusually quiet one weekend 😅
Another thing nobody really warned me about was the “overconfidence” feeling. There were moments where I thought I could work endlessly without rest, but eventually the exhaustion catches up anyway if your sleep is bad for too long.
Overall though, Artvigil 150mg did help me get through a stressful period where work pressure and poor sleep were hitting hard
Really relatable experience — especially the afternoon crash and improved focus part.
The “overfocused” phase and randomly cleaning everything made me smile 😅
You’re absolutely right, timing and sleep make the biggest difference.
Good to see such a balanced and honest take 👍
